Following graduation, he completed a one-year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital (Akron, OH) and a three-year residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of California-Davis, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
